Aloha,

The POCA fun rally in Las Vegas has already come and gone. The attnedance was down but it was still a fun function. If you didn't make it this year, be sure to plan for next year's event.

Bayani Panis, Tim, Wiley, and I attended this year and had a blast. The car show was back on the Freemont Mall which brought back some memories of times past.

Mark Rodrigues, Tim Wiley and Bob Trungale finally got together at a car show in Kona! All enjoyed each others company and plan on getting together more often.

Howard Akamine recently bought another Pantera. It's a '74 model that has really been dropped low. It came with a 377 professionally built stroker with a brace of Weber carbs and 180 exhaust system. It looks and sounds great and according to Howard has an incredible power band. Check the members car section as I will be adding photos of it shortly.

Howard has also sold his car to Darin Watkins of Washington, who seems to be a really nice guy. He flew down to inspect and purchase Howard's '72 Pantera. He even pitched in to help finish put together the car! Good luck to Darin on his purchase and many happy miles of motoring. Darin will be part of the North West Chapter of POCA.

Bayani Panis has completed his radiator and fan installation an his car is running cool!

I purchased a new set of 2v headers to match my Edelbrock heads on my '73 Pantera. I should have them installed in a week. I'm hoping for better low end and sound and will keep you posted here.
